This Privacy Policy describes how MyRateAdvisor.ai collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our AI-powered mortgage advisor tool.
Chat messages: When you use the AI advisor, your questions and conversation history are processed to generate responses. Conversations are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). When you submit a lead form, your full conversation transcript is also logged to our CRM and associated with your contact record so our licensed advisors can better assist you.
Lead form data: If you voluntarily submit your name, email, and/or phone number through our rate check form, that information is collected and stored in our CRM.
Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors interact with the site (pages visited, time on site, general location). This data does not identify you personally.
Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). No advertising cookies are used.
AI responses: Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate mortgage guidance. Anthropic processes these messages in accordance with their privacy policy.
Lead follow-up: If you submit a lead form, a licensed mortgage professional (NMLS #1598577) may contact you to discuss your mortgage needs.
Site improvement: Anonymized analytics data helps us understand how to improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Anthropic: Your chat messages are processed by Anthropic's API. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics for anonymized usage statistics. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
GoHighLevel (CRM): Lead form submissions are stored in GoHighLevel. Data is used solely for mortgage-related follow-up.
Chat history: Stored locally in your browser's localStorage and cleared when you use 'New Chat' or clear your browser data. If you submit a lead form, your conversation transcript is retained in our CRM for up to 2 years or until you request deletion.
Lead form data: Retained in our CRM for business purposes. You may request deletion at any time.
Analytics data: Retained per Google Analytics' standard data retention settings (14 months by default).
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
